TAS5731M: Question of TAS5731M Register 0x0B, 0x39 and 0x50

Part Number: TAS5731M
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5731, TAS5711

Hi Sirs,

1. In TAS5731M GUI set two registers 0x0B and 0x39 (X0B 00, X39 00  00  00  00  00  00  00  00) while the TAS5731 datasheet that we have (SLOS726A-DECEMBER 2011-REVISED SEPTMBER 2013), the register sub-address 0x0B and 0x39 are reserved. Please clarify and provide more detail information on these two registers being written to. They are set to 0x00. What do they mean?

2. The TAS5731M GUI writes 0x00s to the 0x50 register (bank switching control). Do we have more info on this bank switching control register? How to use it to setup the Biquads? We always read back 0x0F 0x70 0x80 0x00, instead of the 4 0x00s that we wrote to it. What does it do when writing 4 0x00 bytes to it? Is there a delay requirement after writing to it before setting up the following Biquads registers?

Thank you and Best regards,

Wayne Chen
