Q: Temperature range
One of my customer is looking for an
audio amplifier -20C to 130C ambient temperature, with 25W/channel <1%THD
Four channels at 24V Dc. The Customer wants to hook 8ohms to 2 ohms speakers to
it. Do we have a part, suitable for this operation.
Please tell me if the TPA5630/15
part is been characterized for the temperature casing above 110degree C, I saw
the Figure 10 in datasheet mentioning the same, but the Ambient temperature is
mentioned as 0 – 70DegreeC. Also in TPA5630 Datasheet Figure 3 is plotted for
unclipped power what is the THD associated with it.
Please let me know.
Q: Re: Temperature range
We test the part up to 125C, but operating at 130C ambient will have problems. Most likely the device will just turn off after a short time running. Also 24V DC is the lower end of what we support. The curves in the datasheet are taken at 1% THD for ‘unclipped’.
