Hi Team,

INA194 seems to be a high side current shunt device. However, can you use it as a low side current shunt monitor ?

I can find the description on the product page, but, no description in the datasheet.

If there is anything what we should take care, could you please let us know ?

Hello Kawai,
INA194 should also work as a Low Side Current Shunt but with a slightly higher output error since the Commonmode will be near 0 V. Please refer to Figure 6 in the datasheet. Do you have more system details for this application?

Hello Rabab-san,

Thanks for the information. Our customer is currently considering to use INA194 in their application (power block) for specific market.
We need to ask for detail information.
