Hello,
Do we have -48V monitor solution to meet below spec.? Thank you.
- -48V/12A & 35A
- Detect Current/ Voltage/ Watt
- SPI interface

Hi Patrick,
We don’t have anything that satisfies all the requirements at the same time. We do have some that came close on one or more aspects. However all of them would require some kind of level shifting; voltage dividing and/or high side sensing (close to GND I assume).

With the right size of shunt resistor, you could support 12A with this solution quite well. A 1mOhm shunt would create a 12mV drop across the shunt to be sensed by the INA226, for instance. Setting up the shunt so that the largest voltage output you expect is still in the range of the INA226 inputs will get you the best resolution and work for your application.
