INA169 Output Gain

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA169

Hi,

We met an issue when we use INA169 as output current amplifier, please see the following schematic. There is an abnormal phenomenon as attached waveform, when output is on or off, there is a large spike on pin1 of INA169. Could please share your comment on this issue?

Besides, currently, we used amplifier coefficient K=215:1, is it OK?

Thanks!

  • Hi Blake,

That shunt resistor I see in the schematic is very small, you meant 2m ohms? What is your differential voltage? Can you please measure it? I need to understand what is happening on the inputs.

With coefficient you are referent to the Gain Setting resistor? You can select the resistor of your preference to set the gain.
