INA203: input filtering

Guru 29690 points

Hi Team,

My customer considers to use INA203 for his new design.

I believe it is ideal for preparing PAD for Rfilter x2 and Cfilter in test production.
In this case, is there recommended default value for Rfilter and Cfilter?

  • Hi Yaita,

You can populate them should you require a given attenuation, at a given frequency as as per formula shown on figure 35.

As a rule of thumb you should leave space on your PCB for these components for final circuit tuning, but by default they are not required. As such: R Filter = 0R and C Filter is not populated. The device has a slew rate of 1V/uS which, on its own, already provides some inherent high frequency noise rejection.
