INA220: I2C address and ACK feedback

Hi, Team:

When the customer send the address 0x00 to INA220, INA feedback a ACK signal, See below chart.

Do you think it is reasonable?

I didn't see such I2C address in the datasheet.

Hello Andrew,

So the blue trace is the SCL and the yellow is the SDA of INA220?

Is customer writing a command to the address of 0x00? Or is customer reading data from the address of 0x00? What is the INA220's actual I2C address set to in their system?

Hey Andrew,

I presume you were meaning the INA220 slave Addresses. Those can be found in the following table of the datasheet.

So, presuming your customer tied pins A0 and A1 to the GND pin. The slave address they should send to the INA220 is 0x40 (1000000).

HI, Peter:
The actual I2C address is 0x40. During writing with the address of 0x00, the INA220 feedback a ACK signal.
Do you meet such issue previously?

Customer has moved this discussion offline and problem determined to be an insuffienct input data hold time triggering the General Call capability of the INA220.
