INA240-Q1: Input Series Resistance 0Ohm

Part Number: INA240-Q1

Dear Team,

could you please help me clarify the following:

I'm thinking of using 0Ohm series resistors to both inputs:

Section 9.1.1 in the Datasheet recommends 10Ohm or less.

Do you see any negative implications with using Rs = 0Ohms?

Thanks and best regards,

B

  • Hey Basil,

Using 0 Ohm input resistors will have a negligble effect on DC accuracy as the input bias curents into IN+ and IN- pin will vary by tens of microamps. Thus the input offset error will be 30uA*10mOhms = 300nV.

    Best regards,
