Hi

Can I use a current sense amplifier with floating ground with respect to the bus being monitored? . if it is possible then should i take into account the common mode voltage spec for the current sense .

For eg in INA 193 the max common mode voltage is around 80V . So is it possible for me to use this IC for sensing the the current in a 250V bus provided my power supply for the INA193 is from a isolated ground so that the 250V bus and the IC ground are separated

Regards

Rony
