PGA 308 fixed output v/s Ratiometric

Hello Experts,

Have been using PGA 308 for sensor signal conditioning now need to design a circuit that should work for both ratimateric and fixed output modes. the challenge i have is with the fixed output one which calls for usage of an additional regulator or reference. i have extra couple of resistors that help me switch between ratiometric mode at reference pin. Is there any option in PGA 308 that configures it as fixed output one without using reference voltrage on Vref Pin?

or is there any simple method to do so?

The PGA308 does not have an internal reference that can be used for fixed output mode so a fixed reference voltage must be provided externally. Is there a reference voltage elsewhere in your system that can be provided to the PGA308?

hello John,

there is no reference voltage in our design hence needed to create one for fixed output application but need to change the design to make it work for ratiometric output. even though minor change this adds process cost to the design.
