DC offset on DRV401 output

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV401

Dear Sirs,

we are working to implementing a current sensing on a 40A H-bridge @ 300V DC link and we choosed the DRV401 for the isolated current measurement,
interfacing to closed loop-magnetic sensor VAC-T60404-M4645-X211.

Unfortunately during debug test we have detected an offset of 66mV on the signal output of the differential amplifier at zero current condition!

Is this a magnetization problem? Performing the demag nothing change.
Do we need a software calibration?

The image shows the schematic that we used in this application.

Many thanks.

  • Hi Andrea,

Welcome to our e2e forum and my apologies for the delay here. Can you verify for me that there was no current flowing through your primary when the demag function was performed? Can you also eliminate the ADC as a potential source of the issue as well by lifting R42 and R45 and then verify the reference voltage and Vout with no primary current flowing?
