dear sir,
can i get the circuit diagram of second order band pass filter with resistor and capacitor values.....i have UAF.......i want to confirm that the UAF what i am having is first order or second order...UAF.TSC

Attached active filter presentation should help answer your questions. In general, if you run an AC Analysis you can look at the slope of the closed loop transfer function , Vout/Vin. If it is 20dB/decade it is first order and if it is 40dB/decade it is second order. Just use straight line approximations on your dB plots. Hello Mohammad,
The predecessor universal active filter (UAF) product to the UAF42 was the UAF41. The UAF41 was obsoleted once the UAF42 had been developed; however, its data sheet was very complete regarding the UAF filter setup information. It explained how to set it up in the different filter configurations and included examples.
The UAF41 data sheet was no longer available through the TI network, but I did find it elsewhere on line. Take a look at it and there are some examples you can follow to test your UAF devices:
Make sure the pin functions of the UAF42 and UAF41 match up when you wire up the UAF42.
Regards, Thomas
