LTC6409 ltspice model importing

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Hello,

I'd need to use the LTC6409 fully differential amplifier in TINA9-TI. However after downloading ltspice and looking for a proper model, I cannot find it among the .sub files. I can just find the LTC6409.asy in a different folder. I cannot see where is the actual file I need to import in this case. I'm new with Spice and related programs. What should I do to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Francesco

  • Francesco,

You cannot import the LT .asy file into any tool other than LTSpice. LTSpice does not supply an importable model for their devices in LTSpice. You will have to contact LT directly and ask them for a PSpice model for the LTC6409. If you can get the PSpice model, then you should be able to import it into TINA-TI using the New Macro Wizard.
