WEBENCH® Tools/AFE031: using AFE031 PSpice model developed by WEBENCH

Part Number: AFE031

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

hi,

i can't find any documentation on using PSpice model of AFE031 ,  can you elaborate on configuring and working of the pins of PSpice model, I've included the PSPice model symbol(automatically genrated) here.

Thank You.

  • Hello Raviteja,

Below are the following pin designation descriptions for the pspice model.

    • VCC: positive power supply pin (7V-24V range)
    • VEE: negative power supply pin (GND)
    • VINM: IN- (input pin for signal)
    • VINP: IN+ (input pin for biasing VCM to mid-supply)
    • VOUT: output pin
    • ISET: power amplifier current limit set

I would recommend using the TINATI model from the link below.

This model has both transmit and receive, protection scheme, and a signal generator that represents the signal after the 4th order filter stage on the AFE031.  This model also has documentation which I have attached the link below.

If you do not have TINATI simulation software you can download the free version from the link below.
