INA 116 and OPA602 S-Parameters

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA602, INA116, TINA-TI

hello,

i want to ask is there anybody have the s-parameter of the INA116 and OPA602, because i want to use it in my circuit and simulate it in ADS software.

and i still want to ask whether i can simulate those two parts without the s-parameters

is there any way can help me to simulate those two component in ADS software?

thanks a lot !!!

  • Hello Ruoyu,

We don't do S-parameter characterization of our Precision Amplifiers, which are low frequency devices having a maximum bandwidth limit of about 50 MHz. S-parameters are most often applied to devices intended for VHF, UHF and microwave applications, operating at hundreds of Megahertz to many Gigahertz.

Our precision amplifier models are intended for use with PSpice simulators. TI's preferred simulator is TINA Spice. We offer a free version called TINA-TI, which works with our simulation models and can be used with many others. It is very easy to use and a fast learn. I do see a model listed for the OPA602, but not one for the INA116 (likely, you could use one of the other INA models to test your circuit concept). These are older products and these older ones don't always have a model.

You can find the TINA-TI software here:

We don't use ADS and don't have access to the program here in our Precision Amplifiers Applications group. You can post an inquiry to TI's Tools E2E froum and see if they know of the program, and if they have access to it.
