Part Number: AMC1100
I want to sense 3 Ph voltage and also display that voltage on LCD.I am go through the data sheet of AMC1100 but I have doubt so I am post this question.Can I go ahead with this IC or an other option for this.Also I have to check Phase sequence of 3 Ph corect or not. Please give suggestion.
Hi Amruta, The AMC1100 is an isolation amplifier which was designed primarily for current sensing operations using a small value shunt. While you can measure voltage with the device using a resistive divider to get down to the +/-250mV input range of the AMC1100, you might want to look at the AMC1311 instead - it has a larger input voltage range and is better suited for doing voltage measurements. Of coarse to display voltages on an LCD, you would have to digitize the output and do a little post processing in a micro.
