Hello,

Just had a quick question over the fixed voltage TPS79850QDGNRQ1. I am assuming I should tie Sense to OUT, correct?

Hi Taoufiq,

That is correct. The fixed output voltage version has two internal feedback resistors connected to the SENSE pin as shown in the functional block diagram below. In order for the LDO to regulate, the internal error amplifier needs to receive feedback from the output voltage. This is achieved by tying SENSE to OUT.
