Does the AFE031 require calibration? What is worst case scenario of not calibrating each unit?

Also, I will be using BOOSTXL-AFE0031 evaluation kit. Do you know if this eval kit comes pre-calibrated?

Neil,

I have the same question. Are the amplifier and filter gain accuracy's shown in the data sheet before or after calibration? If after, what is their uncalibrated acrruacy's?

Hi Mark,

There is no calibration performed on each device during production, so the datasheet specifications account for part-to-part variation. Since there are so many PLC applications with varying on- and off-chip filter requirements, including line coupling circuitry, calibration of the entire signal path is recommended for each application instance.
