Hi,

I'm using the OPA857IRGTT in my design as TIA. At the output I'm using only the single ended output.

What should be done with the OUTn pin ? Can it be left floating or need to be pulled down to ground ?

What are the effects of leaving it floating?

Thanks & Regards,

Nanjunda M

  • Hi Nanjunda,

you can leave the OUTN pin unconnected. It only serves as a reference voltage for a following differential amplifier or ADC.

    Thanks for the input.
Wont there be any adverse effect due to floating?
