May I know the LM2901 output high level will be VCC or need external pull up on output side?

Hi Anne,

the LM2901 has open collector outputs. You can see this from figure 6 of datasheet. So, the LM2901 needs an external pull-up at the output, as shown in figure 7. (CL only represents unwanted output stray capacitance. So, you don't need to mount any CL to the output.)
