Hi,

My customer is requesting the following information:

1. What is the difference between LM139AJ, LM139AJ/PB and LM139AJB?

2. Is 5962-8773901CA the DSCC drawing for LM139AJB?

  • Hello Roland,

TI offers its original version of the LM139 along with a National Semiconductor version of the LM139 after TI acquired National in 2011.

As shown in the Order now tab of the LM139A-MIL product page on TI.com, 5962-8773901CA is the same part as LM139AJB. It is also indicated in the SMD. This part is of TI origin. In the case of this part, the "B" indicates it is militar grade.  It will have 883 mil grade screening.

LM139AJ is the commercial grade of the TI version of the part.

LM139AJ/PB is the commercial version of the LM139 from National Semiconductor. The PB indicates that the lead finish is SnPb solder dip.

The mil grade version of the National part is LM139AJ/883 and is in the LM139AQML product page.  It also has 883 screening but is not listed on an SMD.
