OPA354: Test circuit for Figure 1 (Typical Characteristics) in OPA354

Part Number: OPA354

Hi Team,

Good day!

Our customer is requesting for the test circuits used in obtaining the Bode plot in Figure 1. (Noninverting Small-Signal Frequency Response) of the OPA354 datasheet. Is it possible to provide this information to the customer?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,

Jejomar

  • Hi Jejomar,

The datasheet contains the required values right at the top of the frequency response plot you want.

This is an example of a non inverting amplifier setup.

In the image above, R1 = Rf and R2 = Rg

This is what a non inverting amplifier setup looks like. Now to find Rg, based on the gain you want, for example a gain of +10. Rf is given on the bode plot as 604Ohms. The non inverting gain equation is G = 1 + Rf/Rg so Rg would equal in this case 67.1 Ohms. Not included in the image above is the load resistor. You can just add the 1kOhm load to ground at the output. The supplies for this device would be set to 5V. Now all you need to plot is 20log(Vo/Vi) over the frequency and you will have your gain vs. frequency plots.

    Thanks!
