TLV2464: offset voltage long-term drift

In the "SLOA059 –March 2001" it is shown the following text:

"Normal aging in semiconductors causes changes in the characteristics of devices. The input offset voltage long-term drift specifies how VIO is expected to change with time. Its units are µV/month."

Why is the information about "offset voltage long-term drift" not shown in the TLV2464 datasheet? Is it so low that it can be desconsidered or where can this information bee found?

I need it for the Vio calculation. See below.

    It is pretty rare to see a long term drift plot in an op amp datasheet. Though, this part with its 1998 introduction could have reported some measured data by now. There was a recent discussion on this, where, essentially the newer chopper amps seem to do very well showing no drift from initial value, I did put a couple of references to measured data in this one, but again almost never see that plot (more common on references)

    The value is not known but it will be the smallest term in your equation. Drift is not linear over time. It tends to drift fastest during first use and the drift rate keeps dropping over time.

  • That is a really good article - what is also suggests to me is there is end point shift data out there somewhere from HTOL for whichever part is of interest - that is often hard to find/extract - but it does exist. So, when the part or part family was in qualification, someone was taking pre and post ATE data including offset - that would give you actual shift information. My experience with HTOL is a lot of what looks like big shifts are mistakes in HTOL or ATE. but gotta hope for the best, 

    I would actually find it interesting to see offset shift data through HTOL for the spate of chopper amplifiers that have been coming out. My impression is those do not show offset shift from initial value, but I could be mistaken.
