TLE2301: SPICE or TINA-TI model for TLE2301

In response to this query, it was said that spice model of TLE2301 may be released in an year. I wanted to check if it is still in the plan and when will the model be released?

    Hello Abdullah,

    I just checked and it looks like a model for the TLE2301 has not been underway. The model development responsibility has moved from our applications group to another. I do not know of any plan they have to develop a model for this legacy op amp. I would not expect so because the focus is on newer devices.

    At the time Ian originally responded he indicated that "In the meantime, the OPA564 and OPA552 have models available and are in the same ballpark of performance (slew rate, output current, gain-bandwidth) as the TLE2301.  You can get a good idea of the overall circuit performance if you substitute in one of those devices." That is the quickest solution to obtaining some idea how the TLE2301 will perform in your application.
