can the VCA810 work with a single supply?

Hi evry one

Please help me.

I would like to use the vca810, to keep the sound pressure level constant on the micrphone. The problem is that I have to use a +5V single supply, and I do not see on the datasheet of the 810 VAC that it can be used with a single supply, and since this circuit suits me, I  want to know if it can operate with a single supply or if somebody know a similar component with 8, 10, 14 or 16 pins.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, the VCA810 won't work with a +5V single supply. It needs at least +8V, or +/-4V.

    However, I should be able to help you find a suitable part. What specifically did you like about the VCA810? Let me know what kind of performance you need for your application, and we'll find something that works.
