Hello,

Can I have the following data of THS3001?

(1) input offset voltage drift (max)
(2) distribution data of input offset voltage drift

Best Regards,
Ryuji

  • Hello Ryuji,

I searched for the data and cannot seem to find the raw data, however I have found the statistical data for each of the temperature extremes and nominal. Please see below, this is the Vos in uV @ +/-15V supplies

Temp #Samples Smpl Min -6 Sigma MEAN +6 Sigma Smpl Max Sigma
    -40 67 -1055.15 -1642.53 -716.393 209.748 -376.428 154.357
    25 74 -1191.12 -1769.03 -880.083 8.863 -551.577 148.158
    85 73 -1519.94 -2214.97 -1168.3 -121.626 -793.117 174.446

I will continue to search for the raw data so that we can extract more meaningful drift data.

  • Hello Samir san,

    Thank you for the reply.
I wait the additional information from you.

Meanwhile, I tried to calculate the offset drift from your data as attached image.
Is this my calculation correct ?

  • Hello Ryuji san,

Looking through the Vos data the part looks well behaved across temperature. The sigmas and data range look consistent across temperature which gives me confidence that the mean Vos drift can be calculated just as you have calculated above. The same goes for the min and max "samples". However, looking through the data I dont think I can make any conclusions on the Sigma of Vos drift. If I assume that the mean, max and min vos drift are from three individual units I feel very strongly that the drift of the part is very well behaved.

I discussed this with some of the statistical gurus here and their conclusion is the same. We however dont agree with your calculation of the Sigma of Vos drift above.  Hope this helps.

I got in touch with product engineering and we cant seem to find the data on the individual units. This is a very old part (1999) and we are not sure who the engineer working on it at the time was.

  • Hello Samir san,

    Thank you for the reply.
I understood that we can't calculate the Vos drift from Vos data as we attached.
If you will get the data, please let me know.

    Best Regards,
    Ryuji
