Do you have any suggestion for amplifier to reach 5dbm output since it is low power output with CDC3S04EVM

    Hi Eli,

    If you like to amplify the output signal from the CDC3S04 quad sinewave buffer (up to 54MHz maximum), you could use any one of these devices, set up for the appropriate closed loop gain, for that purposes:

    Quad:

    • LMH6722

    Dual:

    • LMH6628 (Av >= 10 V/V)
    • LMH6715

    I'm not sure what the impact on jitter might be when these amplifiers are used on the output to boost the amplitude, but I chose low noise , high slew rate devices for this purpose.

    Beware of the lowest closed loop gain you can operate each one. Observe the Op Amp input CMVR if you plan to DC couple and if you are using a single supply. AC coupling the input is easier, but make sure you bias the input properly.
