THS4509 gain setting resistors value

Hello,

I am using the THS4509 at the output of a DAC (DAC37J82). The output DAC requires 22Ohms pull-down resistors so to prevent the dac output to be modified by the THS configuration I set the gain setting resistors to Rg=1K6 and Rf=10K. Are these values suitable for a correct performance of the DAC?

Hello again,

The point is if K-ohms resistors can be used to set the gain of the amplifier or they must be in a lower range. Please, can anybody help me with this doubt?

Hello Berlauber,

The 1.6kohms Rg and 10k ohms Rf would be okay for the THS4509. I believe it would be okay for the DAC37J82 as well since the 1.6kohms Rg parallel with 22ohms makes the DAC output current to essentially flow through the 22ohms resistor.
