Radiation hardened version of LMH6629 (or comparable) for space applications.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH6629, LMH6628QML-SP, LMH6702QML-SP

Hi,

Might TI make a radiation hardened version of the LMH6629 for space applications? If not, is there a RadHard component with similar specs?

Thanks.

  • Hello Peter,

No unfortunately we do not have any space version of the LMH6629 but we could create one if there is significant business behind the request, but that would take some time. If you tell me more about your application / needs, I might be able to specify a Space version part for you.

Otherwise, here is a list of low noise Space version parts I found:

    • LMH6628QML-SP
    • LMH6702QML-SP

Here is the pdf document which lists all Amplifier parts on page 19:

Here is my email address if you like to discuss the business aspects of your application:

  • Hooman,
Thank you for the reply. Let me look at what you have provided, maybe that will work. We don't have a business case upon which we could provide funding to qualify the LMH6629.
  • Hi Peter,

Just to clarify, the business case I had asked for was for information purposes so that one could justify the cost / expense of developing the Space version of the LMH6629. In other words, it would be used so that TI can make sure that your demand justifies the $ that has to be spent to characterize and release the product.
