IBIS file for THS4302 & LMH7322

Hello Vasikaran,

I doubt that an ibis model would be generated for the THS4302 since it is an amplifier, but not sure about the LMH7322. I have asked the question to the modeling team to see if they have a proposal. Would it be possible to run the timing simulations on TINA-TI spice model? Another possibility could be is to order evaluation boards of the THS4302 and LMH7322 and do timing measurements.

I am able to perform timing simulation in TINA using spice model. For an Signal Integrity analysis, can I use the same spice model.

If not, Is it possible to generate ibis file from spice model.

I don't think the spice model can be used for Signal integrity analysis and cannot be possibly used to generate an IBIS model, since the behavioral timing information is currently not modeled in the spice models for these devices.

Is it possible to get *.SP file format spice model for THS4302 and LMH7322. It would be helpful for us to perform SI analysis. Model type is Input & Output for both the component.

The IBIS model for the LMH7322 is in works and I am beginning to get the THS4302 IBIS model generated from the modeling team. I will let you know otherwise if the IBIS model cannot be created for the THS4302.

I don't think the IBIS model for the THS4302 can be generated since it is pure analog. You could use the TINA-TI simulator to model overshoot and ringing effects due to the THS4302, but I don't think it models delay.

I am working with the modeling team to get the IBIS model for the LMH7322. I will reply as soon as I hear back from them.

I am sorry but we ran into issues with generating the IBIS model for this part since the part database is a bit old. It could take more than a couple of weeks before we can generate the IBIS model.

Did you get IBIS model for LMH7322, As I am working with Vasikaran. I would like to do the SI simulation for assigning proper termination resistor on the comparator output. Please let me know if you have any update on this.

The LMH7322 device data needed to generate the IBIS model has now been collected. I am in contact with the modeling folks to find out the time it takes them to generate the actual model.

The TI modeling folks have given me an estimated date of Dec. 4, 2015 (one month from now) for the delivery of the IBIS model for the LMH7322.

Sorry about the delinquent response to your query on the LMH7322 IBIS model. We've been collecting data and generating / testing it in the meantime.
The model is now ready for release and you will be able to download it when you click LMH7322 in the next two days.
