Protection Diodes for LMH5401

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH5401

We're testing the use of the LMH5401 for a 10 picosecond resolution detector.  It's basically like a spark chamber and normally the signals we pick up from the cathodes are ~5-10 mV, which we want to amplify by a factor of 30-50 using the LMH5401.  However, we bias the spark chambers at 9 kV, and sometimes the bias HV trips.  When this happens we get very large signals into the LMH5401, and in the lab we've been able to kill the amplifier pretty easily.  I'm wondering if there are any recommended protection diodes for this amplifier, perhaps something that can protect at least at the IEC61000-4-2 level?

Thanks!
