I am interested in any guidance on how to use the LMH5401 with only a single-ended output driving a coaxial cable.  In the datasheet, it always uses a differential output, but our application involves driving a properly terminated 50Ω cable.

    Jason,

     Please see this blog post on how to use a fully differential amplifier (FDA) in a single-ended application. Using an FDA in such a manner will result in reduced gain and slightly degraded distortion. Also, the common-mode noise of the amplifier which would have been rejected in differential mode will no longer be canceled. If you can live with some of these shortcomings, you will be fine.
