LMH6401 : equivalent circut for input

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH6401

Hello support team,

Could you provide equivalent circuit of the inputs (INP, INM) for LMH6401?

I just would like to know how the mid-supply voltage is determined internaly. Is there a resistor divider?

Thanks and regards,

Katsuhiko Kaizawa

  • Hello Kaizawa-san,

I will ask the designer for the exact configuration.

Were you interested in using the LMH6401 at a different supply voltage? Were you interested in shifting the input common mode voltage away from mid supply?

The input common mode impedance is a high impedance. The inputs will tend to track the voltage of the input source if it is low impedance. The datasheet shows the amplifier performance with respect to a change in the input common mode voltage.

  • Hello Kaizawa-san,

To protect customer information I am only providing TI content on E2E.  I am posting the following in case someone else has the same question.

The input common mode of the LMH6401 is set by a resistor divider between the two supplies.  It will track the mid supply voltage for any supply configuration.  It is connected to the first element of the input attenuator as shown below.
