Amplifier price question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS4303

Hi

I would like to know what does 3.28 | 1ku mean in the parametrics line of Approx. Price (US$) for THS4303 amplifier? Does it mean that the price for 1000 amplifiers is 3.28$ ? What is the price for 5 amplifiers if we use that logic? are they able to sell them as quantity of one?

thank you

  • Hi Simon,

This is the "1000 piece price", or what the price is per piece for up to 1000 pieces. This is the suggested retail price (similar to the MSRP for a car).

Traditionally, the price is "tiered" in different quantity ranges, up into the millions. The more you buy, the more the discount.

The quantity ranges and prices are set by the end distributor (Digikey, Mouser, Farnel, Arrow, etc). They set what you pay for single quantities, and will add their markup and handling costs.

If you click on the "Order Now" button, you will see that the TI Store will sell them at $7.38 each up to 9 pieces, then $6.72 each for 10 to 24 pieces...etc, etc.

You can also try clicking the "request samples" link. You may be contacted by a TI sales person for more information.

    Regards,
