Test Circuits for Current Feedback Amplifiers

In the data sheets for the CLC501 and CLC502 current feedback amplifiers, it states the DC parameters VIO, IBN, and IBI are 100% tested.  We have been tasked with performing these tests for incoming inspection of parts headed for production.  What are the recommended test circuits for the parameters?  Also what is the recommended method for characterizing the transimpedance gain (ZOL)?

  • Hi William,

    Sorry for the delay.

For testing the DC parameters VIO, IBN and IBI, we normally use the false summing junction circuit in production testing. If you want further details on the testing methodology, please provide an email address for the same.

Also, the CLC501 and CLC502 are obsolete devices. I would recommend you to find upgraded products in our portfolio for these parts.

    Best Regards,

    Rohit
