OPA847: Noise Density at low Frequencies

Hello,

I'm using the OPA847 as a trans-impedance amplifier connecting to a balanced photodiode pair. I want to calculate the noise of the circuit. In the datasheet of OPA847, both the input voltage noise density and current noise density are listed for f > 1 MHz. What are the values at lower frequencies?

Hi David,

The noise plot at the top of page 6 shows the lower frequency noise including the 1/f corners. However, typically low frequency noise is not an issue in wide bandwidth applications because it occupies such a small percentage of the total bandwidth that it makes almost no difference to the total integrated noise.
