Do we have a list of opamp similar to the THS3091, capable to drive a load of 2A with a 12V Swing @ either 15V or +/- 7V supply and slew rate is 1KV/uS or better?

    Hi Carlos,

    We don't have an amplifier which is capable of driving a load of 2A with 12V swing @ either 15V or +/-7V supply. However, we do have an upgraded part, which is the THS3491, that can be paralleled up to achieve about 2A current with 12V swing.

    You might want to take a look at this reference design which can achieve high output currents by paralleling two THS3091's in load sharing configuration. www.ti.com/.../TIDA-00023. I think a similar approach can be employed using four THS3491s to achieve 2A output current and 12V swing, but the supplies would have to be at-least +/-15V.

    May I know what is the end equipment or application the customer is asking the enhanced output load current for?
