LMP91000: LMP91000

Part Number: LMP91000

Hello,

We require a Co2 sensor in one of our design. Can we use LMP91000 with MG811/ MG812 for CO2 sensing application.

Regards,

Sumathi

  • Hi Sumathi,

Unfortunately MG811 and MG812 are sensors based on the solid electrolyte cell principle that it is not compatible with the LMP91000.

We can suggest the CO2-D1 sensor of Alphasense:

    www.alphasense.com/.../AAN_401.pdf

that can be used with the LMP91000 in configuration 2-Lead Galvanic Cell Ground-Referred (please refer to LMP91000 datasheet at pag.18).

    Best regards,

    Carmine

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply.

We had sent mail to Alphasense regarding CO2 D1 and we received reply that this part is no longer available.

Kindly advice any alternate gas sensor for LMP91000 for CO2.

    Regards,

    Sumathi

    Hello,

Kindly advice any alternate gas sensor for LMP91000 for CO2. since CO2 D1 is not available.

    Regards,

    Sumathi

  • In reply to sumathi Sapthagiri:

    Hi Sumathi,
Sorry, but I'm not aware of other electrochemical gas sensors for CO2 except the CO2-D1 sensor from Alphasense.
Probably the best solution is to use the NDIR sensors and LMP91051 as you are already evaluating in your other posts.
    Best regards,
    Carmine
