I am evaluating the LMP91051 to replace our discrete IR sensor front end cct interfacing to a Heimann HTS E21 xxx thermopile detector.
Most thermopiles use the case as circuit common. in our application, the thermopile case is in contact with an aluminum sample chamber which is grounded to reduce noise. It is also externally accessible.
The LMP 91051 requires the CMOUT be connected to the thermopile common and so [in our application] making the aluminum case "live" which we will need to isolate to avoid shorting it to gnd.
Is there any way around using the CMOUT? I would like to maintain the sample chamber gnd connection.

Following is a list of thermopiles that can work with LMP91051.
Together with the sensor you have to select the correct optical filter in order to identify the gas you want to measure (CO2 in your case).
Example: the HTS E21 filter for CO2 is F3.91 / F4.26 .
