OPA129 output saturating to negative supply voltage

I suspect this may be something simple for an EE to diagnose. We are using an OPA129 as a voltage amplifier with a gain of 101 using 100 Ohm and 10 kOhm resistors. Our piezoelectric device is connected to the noninverting input on one end and grounded on the other. The gain resistors are connected at the noninverting input. We are also using a 1 GOhm resistor in parallel with the piezoelectric device to shunt any DC drifts. When we power up the amp, the output saturates to the negative supply voltage. Not sure what went wrong. It has happened with multiple amps
