I'm developing a new platform for LMP91000, and I'm wondering if I would have better performance in case of adding an external voltage regulator or just work with power supply as reference (internal).
My power supply is 3V3 from a LDO, with low dropout voltage. Although it is not a precise one, it could be suitable for this application.
So, could you explain which will be the benefits of having a precise voltage regulator?
Which voltage reference do you recommend in order to get the maximum perfomance (2V5 or 3V3)?
And, finally, which would the maximum current dropped through Vref?
