Using both Positive and Negative input ranges for PGA308

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PGA308

Our expected input signal (differential) from Sensor Bridge is expected to be in the range from -200mV to +200mV. (Sensor excitation is +5V)

We need to translate this into output range, for instance, from +0.5V to +4.5V. I wanted to confirm that the PGA308 can correctly translate both positive and negative ranges. (The use of both ranges was not clear in the spec; with input mux swap) Our expectation is that (using Coarse/Fine offset and FrontEnd/Fine gain) following will occur:

Negative input range (-200..0 mV) will be translated into 0.5..2.5 V

Positive input range (0..+200 mV) will be translated into 2.5..4.5 V

Thanks,

Vladimir
