TL07xx Low-Noise JFET-Input Operational Amplifiers

SIDDHARTH,

TL07 output can typically swing  +/-13.5V on +/-15V supplies (1.5V from either rail) but at minimum +/-12V.  Getting closer to the rail make things better thus there is no need to specify the MAX value.

Yes that is what the data sheet states.

Hi, i have a doubt regarding opamp part OPA2192ID, the Absolute maximum section of datasheet says that Differential signal at the input pins should not exceed (V+)-(V-)+0.2, this is not very clear to me, can someone put some light on this with an example

i tried to search in the datasheet of TL07 series but couldn't find Isc -

What is the output short circuit (Isc) current of TL07 series opamp?

Short circuit current come from the supply rail then there is a 1.5V head room (drop out) reduction, lastly there is a 200 ohm resistance to the output pin.

When output is trying to go high, Isc = (Vcc+ - 1.5V - Vout) / 200 ohms

When output is trying to go low, Isc = (Vcc- + 1.5V + Vout) / 200 ohms

thanks for the reply but i am not able to see in the datasheet where is 200 ohm value coming from ? If i see the VOM spec given in the datasheet typical VOM is 13.5v at 10K load , so can you confirm how will your formulae for Isc apply to this case ?

The 200 ohms output can be calculated by choosing two points on figure 6 and doing math.

It is also seen in figure 13, 64 + 128 = 192

Thanks for the reply, so can i safely assume that internal resistance between VCC+ to output is 200 ohm when output goes high and similarly from VCC- to output is 200 ohm when output tried to go low? regards

Meet me halfway. What is your maximum VCC+ and VCC-? To what is the output shorted? (ground or some other node?)

VCC+ is 12v and VCC- is -12v
you can let me know for the worst case - like when the ouput load tends to 0 or output getting shorted to ground
