OPA2188 Long-term stability

Hello,

In the OPA2188 datasheet, there is the long-term stability specification as 4uV(typ) and there is the note (1) of "1000-hour life test at +125°C demonstrated randomly distributed variation in the range of measurement limits—approximately 4 μV".

Is this mean 4uV/1000hour(typ) ?

  • Hello Ryuji,

As part of the product qualification process, OPA2188 was life-tested for the equivalent 1000-hours operation at 125°C temperature and it passed the maximum allowable Vos shift limit of +/-25uV; what this means is that the typical part with the initial Vos =5uV may typically shift after 1000 hours of constant operation at 125°C by +/-4uV, thus ending up at either 1uV or 9uV (5uV+/-5uV).

  • Hello Leon,

    Thank you.
I understood that the Vos shift is +/-4uV/1000hour at 125C operation.
