XTR111: EF Pin Timing

The timing for the EF pin of the XTR111 is not stated in the data sheet. Do we have any information as to how long after an error is sensed before the EF is asserted?

Hi Richard,

I am looking for some more information on this but I don't believe we have this characterized. If you really need this information then we could gather some data from the XTR111EVM, but any number we come up with obviously wouldn't be a guarantee and wouldn't account for process variations. I wouldn't expect the timing to shift significantly though so this should give a good estimate.

I believe that some timing information would be fine. I can explain that this is just a test with the results from a simple EVM.
So if you can send me this information (screen shots or numbers) that would be great.

Hi Richard,

I've attached the data I gathered on the XTR111 EF pin. I used the XTR111EVM-2 to perform the testing and simply removed the load and measured the time between when the load was removed (when the output voltage starts increasing) to the point when the error flag pulls low. The timing does seem to be slightly dependent on the output level, but on average it takes 665us for the error flag to trip. Hope this data helps!
