I am currently using this amplifier on my design and I would like to know if it was CMOS based or 100% bipolar?

Hello Annais,

The INA118 is fundamentally a bipolar instrumentation amplifier. However, it has a number of JFETs used in internal amplifier circuits and in the input over-voltage protection circuits. Therefore, it isn't entirely bipolar but rather BiFET process.
