TPA201/2x families of AGC amplifiers can be enabled and disabled through hardware or software. There are differences between the 2 modes. - The 5mS startup period after enable must not be interrupted, including changing PVDD, changing hardware EN pin state, or issuing I2C write or read commands. These...

Can the enable pin (center ball) of the 3x3 BGA TPA2028D1 be tied directly to PVDD or AVDD for an always on state in order to eliminate the need for the 3 mil escapes that make manufacturing so expensive? Datasheet was not clear on this. -Jason

We're currently using TPA2018D1 as audio PA . It seems that you've recently released 'updated' version TPA2028D1. If we have SW interfaces developed and surrounding HW designed for 2018 available, is it possible to simply move on to use TPA2028D1 'on-the-fly' or is there any other...

Hi, I can not get the TPA2028D1YZFEVM Evaluation Module software to install correctly on my laptop - I have also tried an XP machine (I'm using windows 7). The install program runs fine, but when I connect the EVM, it say it has not installed the software correctly, even when I point the install...

Customer has two questions regarding the TPA2028D1. They will provide a 1kHz sine wave for amplification. The sine wave is the output of an op amp that is referenced to ground. The TPA2028 provides a differential input but looking at the EVM schematic (see attachment) there is a configuration where Vin...

Hi Folks, I'm hoping these are a simple questions; I've just started working with the TPA2028D1 and there are a few things the datasheet isn't clear on: 1. How do you disable the AGC? This is mentioned prominently in the datasheet, but I can't find an explanation of how this is done...
