Hi,

Hi ,

One of customer selected the TPS54240Q1 + TLV70018Q1 for their power tree , typical input from battery is around 12 V to 36 V covert into 4. 2 /0.500ma (two load with same 4.2 V with 0.100 ma / 0.200 ma respectively  )  and 1.8 v (0.200 ma for  onemore  load. They feeding the output of TPS54240 to TLV70018 to get the 1.8 V output. Please do find the query for above combination .

b )  Customer want to implement the load dump fuctionality with TPS54240 ? it is pssible ? typical input maximum transient will be  from   60 v to 80 V. Shall i suggest the TPS2400 or LMV431 ?

Please advice me ASAP how to implement the automotive load dump with TPS54240 ?.

    Vengat:

TPS2400 would be the choice as it controls a series pass element.

I'll check with some FAE's for practical application circuits.

    Thanks

    Mark
