    Dear TI-er.

    TL751M05-Q1 is 60V LoadDump Protection.

    Is it for 24V automotive battery system(input min 24V ~ max 32V) ?

    plz help me.

    Hello ElSalvador,

From the datasheet, Vi (max) is 26V.  Therefore, a 24V battery system will be ok to handle a 60V load dump. The device may be able to handle 60V load dump with Vi = 32V; however, once again, this is not something TI can guarantee since it is not within the datasheet limits.

(The question is also answered on TLE4275-Q1 Load Dump)

    Best Regards,

    Wen-Shin Wang

    Dear TI-er.

    I will use LM2931.

    How does you think ?

    Is LM2931 AEC-Q100 qualification ?

    Hello ElSalvador,

I do not believe that LM2931 is AEC-Q100. Please note that this device seems very similar to TL750 in that the max operating range is up to 26V. Therefore any input voltages above 26V cannot be guaranteed to fall within the listed datasheet parameters.

Some other alternatives could be TPS7A1633-Q1 (a bit more pricier and the input voltage goes up to 60V) and TPS79801-Q1 (recommended input voltage is 50V and abs max is 60V, therefore 55V load dump should be ok).

    Best Regards,

    Wen-Shin Wang

    Dear TI-er.

I want know LM9076Q-Q1(TO-263) Thermal Resistance value.

Is it θja 75°C/W(Worst case (FREE AIR) per EIA/JESD51–3) ?

    My condition Vin min 24V ~ max 32V, Vout 5V 70mA, Maximum Ambient Temperature 75 degree C

    But, Tj is Typ 174.75 degree C & Max 216.96 degree C.

Do you check Thermal Resistance ?

    Plz help me.
