Today in a design review some of the senor engineers got a bit nervous about the statement in the TPS65381 datasheet concerning the SEL_VDD3/5 pin needs to be a "no connect" for 3.3V operation and wanted to pull it up to some voltage to prevent potential problems with noise issues at start-up.
I'm reluctant to do such since it is a violation of the datasheet and was tasked with digging into this further.
Can anyone tell me more about this pin?
Is there a internal pull-up source, if so how strong?
Can it be pulled up externally, if so to what voltage?
